Auberge de la Treille (Island of la Barthelasse)
Right opposite Avignon lies the island of la Barthelasse, on the Rhone River. This is where the Auberge de la Treille nestles: this old provençale bastide, with a large garden shaded by century-old plane trees, is surrounded by the island’s lush countryside and yet stands right by the river side. A delightful location.
