Wine and Vineyard Celebration in the winemaking villages
Fête de la Vigne et du Vin –
initiated by young Vaucluse vintners (Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Ventoux, Côtes du Luberon)- has been so successful for the past 12 years that it has now become a national festival.
The Festival starts on the Friday afternoon in Avignon, where a wine village is set up in front of the Palace of the Popes, and where you’ll be able to join one of the many activities, demonstrations, or wine initiations offered.
Saturday is entirely devoted to wine and the wine-making trade: cooperative and independent wine cellars will be open to the public and will offer wine tastings, and also visits of the cellar, meals, bocce ball competitions, music, etc.
A fun, festive atmosphere to discover villages and wines throughout Vaucluse.
