The Place de l’Horloge and its lively cafés, theater during the festival d’Avignon and all year long, with 14 permanent theaters and the opera … Wandering the winding streets, browsing, shopping, visiting the decorators, the antique dealers, the fashion shops which display the best labels, tucked-away restaurants and the famous ones, luxury hotels or tiny charming ones, great addresses for late night life … I often extend my stay or come back as often as possible to Avignon, less than 3 hours from Paris on the splendid TGV.
