I wanted a place to stay while hiking: a bastide, a mill, or an old Templar commandery carefully and tastefully restored, to share in the passion for the lifestyle in Provence. I strolled through the gardens. All was quiet, lovely. Fragrant smells irresistibly drew me to the kitchen.
